Mangle Point is one of only two visitor sites on Fernandina Island. Due to its remote location at the far west of the Galapagos archipelago, Fernandina Island is the only Galapagos Island that has no introduced mammal species.
During a dinghy ride along the shores that are surrounded by mangroves, you can observe sea birds like pelicans. At the rocky shores, you can see flightless cormorants.
Punta Mangle is a good spot to snorkel with rays and turtles. You also have the chance to see marine iguanas feeding on algae and meet penguins.

Highlights: Sea lions, marine iguanas, maybe flightless cormorants and penguins
Permitted activities: Snorkeling, dinghy ride, short hike
Tip: Beware of bringing anything organic to the island.

Activities and visits may vary according to the cruise.
